Unilorin Graduate Emerges Nigerian Law School’s Best Graduating Student

A young Nigerian law graduate has achieved a remarkable academic milestone after topping his class at two major stages of his legal journey.

Israel Adekunle Adeniyi completed an exceptional academic career that started at the University of Ilorin by winning the title of Overall Best Graduating Student of the Nigerian Law School for the 2026 Call to Bar.

Adeniyi, an Offa native, was selected the overall top graduating student at the 2026 Call to Bar event after completing his Bar Part II curriculum at the Nigerian Law School's Lagos Campus.

Prior to attending the Nigerian Law School, he earned the greatest cumulative grade point average in the faculty's history 4.83 as the top graduating student in the University of Ilorin's Common Law program.

This accomplishment was verified by a number of sources, including the University of Ilorin Law Students' Society.

We would like to congratulate Israel Adekunle Adeniyi on being named the Nigerian Law School's BEST GRADUATING STUDENT.

The group posted online, saying, "We celebrate his great achievements which have continuously served as a source of inspiration for us all."

The Abubakar Bukola Saraki Foundation gave him a ₦2 million cash prize in recognition of his most recent achievement.

In a statement online, the foundation revealed that Adeniyi was invited to dinner by its founder, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, in appreciation of his outstanding academic achievement.

Following Israel Adeniyi Adekunle's outstanding performance as the Nigerian Law School's Overall Best Graduating Student at the recently held 2026 Call to Bar Ceremony, our founder, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, invited him to dinner.

He had previously won the title of Best Graduating Student from the University of Ilorin's Faculty of Law.

"The ABS Foundation presented him with a ₦2,000,000 award in recognition of his exceptional performance, discipline, and unwavering commitment to excellence," the foundation said.

It further stated that its goal of inspiring exceptional young Nigerians still revolves around honoring excellence.

As the Nigerian Law School's top graduate overall, Adeniyi finished his professional legal training and university education at the top of his class, solidifying his status as one of the nation's most talented young attorneys.
