This is the extraordinary moment a man was chased off by a pack of dogs after allegedly attempting to sexually as$ault two women.
Remarkable footage shows six dogs pursuing a man who leapt from a bush in a broad-daylight att@ck in Australia.
The man is seen stumbling as he desperately tries to outrun the protective animals.
Two women, aged 67 and 39, were confronted at Gardiners Creek in the Melbourne suburb of Kooyong during a morning walk with their eight dogs at around 11:10am on July 14.
According to police, the attacker grabbed one of the women after jumping out from a bush.
When she managed to break free from his grip, he turned his attention to the second woman.
In a statement, Victoria Police said: "He then tried to pull the other woman toward him, and she also managed to push him away."
Six of the dogs quickly turned on the man, chasing him until he disappeared into a tunnel beneath a busy freeway.
Footage filmed by one of the women shows dogs of various breeds and sizes barking furiously as they pursue the man through the park, jumping at him and causing him to trip while others circled around his heels.
He can be heard shouting at the dogs before eventually managing to flee. He remains at large.
The dogs reportedly succeeded in tearing off a piece of the suspect's clothing during the chase.
Police described the man as being of African appearance and wearing black tracksuit pants, white socks, slides, a black and grey hooded top, and a black face covering.
He was also said to be carrying a large bright blue backpack.
Victoria Police added: "Detectives have released a facial composite of a man they wish to speak to in relation to the incident."
Police are investigating the attempted sexual as$ault and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
