Tinubu Reacts as Gunmen Kill About 30 in Kaduna Village Attack

President Bola Tinubu has condemned the deadly attack that claimed dozens of lives in a Kaduna community, describing it as a brutal act against innocent civilians.

About thirty people were killed at Naridon Village, Kamaru Ward, Kauru Local Government Area, Kaduna State. President Bola Tinubu denounced the attack, calling it a savage act of terror against defenseless civilians.

The President's response was detailed in a statement released on Tuesday by Bayo Onanuga, his Special Advisor on Information and Strategy.

An online news platform reports that the att@ck occurred in the early hours of Monday and claimed the lives of about 30 people, including women and children, while several houses were set ablaze.

President Tinubu described the assault as a cowardly and unprovoked att@ck on defenceless residents, vowing that those responsible would face justice.

He warned that anyone seeking to destabilise the hard-fought peace and security Kaduna State has enjoyed in recent times would not go unpunished.

He extended condolences to the families of the victims, Governor Uba Sani, the Kaduna State Government and residents of the state, and assured affected communities of continued Federal Government support as efforts continue to address security challenges nationwide.

The President said he had directed the Armed Forces, police and relevant intelligence agencies to intensify operations across the affected areas in order to swiftly track down the perpetrators, secure the release of @bducted individuals, and restore normalcy to the region.

Tinubu reiterated his administration's commitment to strengthening the country's security architecture, stressing that the government remains unwavering in its resolve to reinforce security infrastructure, equip response personnel, and neutralise criminal networks attempting to disrupt peace across the nation.

He further urged residents to cooperate with security forces by sharing actionable intelligence that could support early response efforts and help prevent future att@cks.
