16 Year Old Girl Stabbed in Coventry Attack as Woman Arrested

A 16-year-old girl was hospitalised with stab wounds following an incident in Coventry, West Midlands, on Tuesday evening.

Emergency services attended a residential address on Roselands Avenue at approximately 10:10pm and found the teenager with a stab wound.

A 42-year-old woman with minor injuries was also present and taken to hospital.

The girl and the 42-year-old woman have both since been discharged. A 45-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of two counts of wounding and remains in police custody.

Authorities have described the incident as isolated.

Police officers have been deployed in the Henley Green area to provide community reassurance.
