First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu has been given a traditional title in Imo State.
The honor, Oso Di Eme 1, means she who supports her husband.
Her media adviser announced the conferment on Wednesday, describing the First Lady as a worthy partner to President Bola Tinubu, saying that while he works she also works.
Photographs from the ceremony show the First Lady dressed in colorful traditional attire featuring party symbols and Nigerian flag designs.
She wore a red headwrap and coral beads while holding a large ceremonial fan and a white horsetail flywhisk inscribed with the title.
The honor came during the First Lady's recent visit to Imo State, where traditional rulers received her.
It also comes a few months after she was given a chieftaincy title in Enugu in June 2026.
That title, Ugosimba 1, means Jewel of Empowerment in the local language and was given to recognize her work promoting women's empowerment and social development across Nigeria.
