Most parts of Lagos are currently water-logged as the state has battled with poor drainage problems for a long time. This picture emanates from one of the flooded areas.

As rain persists in Lagos state, several streets have been left flooded, hampering commercial activities in the busy state. Due to the heavy rain that lasted for about 3hours yesterday, 2nd of June, the Orile area of Lagos state has been badly affected.

The picture here, taken from one of the flooded scenes shows a motorist making a desperate attempt to help a supposedly married woman of out the water-logged area.
