Nigerians Will Beg Us To Come Back In 2019 - PDP Chieftain

National Vice Chairman of the PDP’s South-South zone, Cairo Ojuogbo
One of the senior members on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has stated that Nigerians will be pleading for the party to retake power in 2019.
The statement was made by the National Vice Chairman of the PDP’s South-South zone, Cairo Ojuogbo on Monday, July 6, 2015.
Ojuogbo said further that the PDP would definitely return to power in the next four years because the All Progressives Congress (APC) is crisis-ridden and also lacks coordination and ideology.
He also spoke on the relocation of the Akwa Ibom and Rivers State election tribunals and the appointment of new Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Amina Zakari.
Ojuogbo said:
“Rivers and Akwa Ibom State tribunals are sitting in Abuja. No amount of intimidation will make the PDP lose the elections it won freely and fairly in these states. Any move to rig us out will be resisted.”
“We have said that the appointment of Amina is completely unacceptable to us. The example that ex-President (Goodluck) Jonathan gave should be followed. We know Amina is not apolitical.”
The PDP ruled Nigeria for 16 years before losing its position to the APC in the recently concluded general elections.
