Free For Now: EFCC Sets Senate President's Wife on Bail

 

Wife to Bukola Saraki, Mrs. Toyin Saraki’s case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has been making headlines all week.

 

Reliable sources confirm that the EFCC interrogated her on Tuesday,28th July, 2015, and granted her administrative bail.

 

An interesting twist to her case is the attention it has received from “the powers that be."

 

According to Sun Newspapers, the EFCC is facing pressure from powerful Nigerians to stop the probe of the wife of the number three man in Nigeria.

 

Mrs. Saraki was interrogated for close to six hours to find out the source of undisclosed suspicious funds which were paid into the account of some businesses which she had major stakes in.

 

Meanwhile, Mrs. Saraki says she will co-operate with the EFCC in their investigations.
