Popular media reports claim the faceless kidnappers of Chief Olu Falae have contacted his family with their demands alongside a deadline.

Reports reaching us reveal that the kidnappers of Olu Falae, a chieftain of Afenifere and National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), have demanded for a N100 million ransom.

According to Remi Olayiwole, the spokesperson for SDP, the kidnappers demanded that the ransom be paid latest by end of Tuesday.

Chief Falae, a former secretary to the government and presidential aspirant in the 1999 presidential elections, was kidnapped from his home in the Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State early Monday, September 21.
