16 Ebonyi Top Officials to Lose September Salaries For Lateness

Governor Dave Umahi has directed that 16 top officials of the Ebonyi State Government, including members of the State Executive Council, to lose their September salaries and other allowances for coming late to an event on Monday.
This has been described as a war against indiscipline. The top officials have been used as scape-goats to send a message to the junior workers.
This action will no doubt go a long way in sanitizing the state civil service.
