For allegedly defrauding more than 15 victims of over N100m in a land scam in Lekki, 88-year-old man, was remanded in Kirikiri prison in Lagos.

Pa Adeola Ajidahun was arrested for allegedly defrauding more than 15 victims of over N100m in a land scam in Lekki Resettlement Schemes in Eti-Osa LGA, Lagos.
He was earlier charged before Igbosere Magistrates’ Court for fraud. He was again arrested after he allegedly defrauded a certain Kehinde Ola to the tune of N30m under the false pretence of selling some plots of land at the same resettlement location.
Ola wasn't the only person he allegedly defrauded over the land. Tony Ezeoke, also lost over N10m on the same land. When Ola discovered the fraud, he got him arrested. During investigation, it was discovered he was using an estate agent identified as Felix Olu Fadare, who is now at large, to defraud victims.
Ajidahun was charged with conspiracy, obtaining under false pretence and stealing under the Criminal Code. He was granted bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum but was remanded in Ikoyi prison after his relations did not show up to perfect his bail condition.
