A deadly thief who has been stealing from people in Owerri has finally met his match after he was caught stealing from a church.

The thief was beaten to stupor after he was caught stealing from a church

A notorious criminal who has been stealing from people in Orji, Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State, has been caught and mercilessly beaten to stupor.

The thief was allegedly caught around 2am this morning at Overcomers church in Orji, Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State.

The angry mob used weapons to beat the criminal and tied his hands. He was beaten and was about being set ablaze before people begged on his behalf. After that, he was handed over to the police.
