Kemi Olunloyo has revealed that a prison official told her prisoners didn't escape, they were set free.

It has been revealed that Benin prisoners didn't escape, they were released by warders.

The revelation was made by investigative journalist, Dr Kemi Olunloyo on her twitter handle.

According to her, the prisoners that escaped from the Benin prison a.k.a "White house" yesterday, were actually set free by the prison warders due to their frustration on corruption.

She wrote:
