Ahmed Lawan, the Senate President, is currently in a closed-door meeting with executives of the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria, The PUNCH reports.
The meeting started at about 4:30pm on Friday when the Senate President got to the National Assembly complex.
The PUNCH reports that, although the executives had invited the media to the meeting, the members refused to allow the press access to the complex.
The PASAN had commenced an indefinite strike action on Monday following the failure of the management of the National Assembly to keep to the terms of a Memorandum of Understanding it entered with the workers on full payment of arrears of salary and allowances.
