An unknown gunman 'Sampolo' was killed during the encounter with police operatives in Anambra.
Police in Anambra has said it killed an unknown gunman after engaging his gang members in a shootout.
In a
video posted by @DejiAdesogan on Twitter, the police officers claimed that one 'Sampolo' was shot dead during a gun duel.
The police officer narrating the story, said Sampolo was a member of an unknown gunmen gang which included a lady terrorizing residents of Oko community and Ekwulobia in Aguata local council area of Anambra State.
Exhibits recovered from them include a Biafran flag, police beret, web belts, charms, arms, two pairs of Eastern Security Network (ESN) uniforms, among others.
The police said the gang members had kidnapped a victim but were repelled in the attack that led to the death of Sampolo.
