Shade Ladipo, a Nigerian media personality, has given her two cents on persons who flaunt ‘soft life’.
The On-air personality (OAP) has always criticised the ‘lavish display of wealth’ on social media especially among individuals without obvious source(s) of income to back up their incessant displays.
She argued that most people who flaunt various achievements on social can’t truly defend those successes.
In a recent, Ladipo while advising against incurring debt as a result of living a ‘soft life’ explained most people living extravagantly, especially on social media, do so at the expense of other people’s hard-earned money.
She wrote: “Do not soft life yourself into debt.
“80% of the people doing soft life upandan are funded by another person’s hard life. #ImJustSaying”.
The idea of a ‘soft life’, something that is increasingly misleading the youth particularly, into thinking that wealth can be achieved easily.
