Stanley Nweze
Nollywood actor, Stanley Nweze has reacted to the increasing trend of breakup in marriages, particularly among celebrities.
Nweze via his insta story, appealed to couples to do everything possible to ensure their marriages work so their kids don’t grow up in separate homes.
According to him, when that happens, their children are bound to replicate same thereby, establishing it as a norm in their lineage.
The fast-rising film actor’s concern to address the surge in marriage crashes was prompted following the announcement by Funke Akindele’s hubby, JJC Skillz; informing the general public of their separation after having been married for 6 years with two kids together.
Reacting, he noted news such as this not only frightens but discourages single people like him from getting married.
Nweze wrote: “A lot of marriages don’t last these days why?
“Couples are fast to vow for better and for worse but when things get worse, they get fed up and leave the marriage.
“I know people are passing through a lot in marriages but sometimes, for the sake of our children, try to make it work because I think if your children grow in separated homes, it could be a thing in your lineage.
“May we all be happy and have lasting marriages, IJN.”
“This is very scary and discouraging for those who are yet to marry”, he added.
