Fifteen suspected armed robbers, cultists and drug dealers have been paraded after being arrested by operatives of the Ekiti State Police Command.
The suspected criminals were arrested at Atikankan area of Ado-Ekiti.
Spokesperson of the command, DSP Abutu Sunday, who disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, July 19, said fifteen suspected drug dealers, armed robbers, and cultists were arrested during the operation carried out by the operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) on July 13.
Those arrested include; Musa Madaki '35yrs', Abdullahi Umar '25yrs', Shola Adeyemi '43yrs', Hawalu Ali '45yrs', Usman Amisu '30yrs', Haruna Usman '20yrs', Yanusa Abubakar '25yrs', Usman Lawali '20yrs', Ajayi Opeyemi '20yrs', Toheeb Isa '21yrs', Ajiboye Michael '19yrs', Kayode Yinka '20yrs', Taiwo Michael '20yrs', Jimoh Zarheal '19yrs' and David Henry '36yrs'.
Items recovered from the suspects are two locally made single barrel guns, two battle axes, two locally made pistols, and some wraps of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp.
