Suspected Cable Thief Electrocuted While Tampering With A Transformer In Lagos

A suspected cable thief got more than what he bargained for after he was electrocuted while tampering with a transformer in the Isale Agbede, Lagos island area of Lagos state.

Twitter user @hartunday who shared a video of the deceased positioned by the side of the transformer, said he was electrocuted after the electricity distribution company restored power while he was tampering with the transformer.

''This guys here tried to steal a cable from a transformer panel but unfortunately NEPA brought the light and he was electrocuted till death. It happened somewhere around Lagos island.''he tweeted.
