Flight Ticket Hike: Passenger Shows Empty Waiting Area At The Murtala Muhammed International Airport (Video)

The increase in airfare due to the high cost of aviation fuel has discouraged travellers from travelling by air.

A traveller was surprised to see an empty waiting area at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos.

The airport, which usually has bodies milling around, was almost empty, save for about two travellers.

"Flying is now a big deal," the person filming is heard saying as she went round to show the decline in human activities at the airport.
