Nigerian activist, Deji Adeyanju has claimed that Nigeria's apex electoral body, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been compromised.
He made the claim on his Twitter page ahead of the 2023 general elections on Thursday.
He stated that INEC is compromised to the point that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) does not stand a chance in any election in Nigeria except if it engages in vote-buying.
The activist stated that no matter the popularity of the candidate, the system is so flawed that it gives the All Progressives Congress (APC) an automatic advantage.
He wrote: “INEC is so compromised to the point that even almighty PDP can never stand a chance in any election in Nigeria except they also buy votes like in Osun. No matter the popularity of the candidate, the system is so flawed that it gives APC an automatic advantage.”
