Senator Gaya Loses Son Two Years After Wife

The lawmaker representing Kano South, Senator Kabiru Gaya is mourning the demise of his son, Sadiq Gaya.

This is coming two years after Gaya, a former governor of Kano State, lost his wife Halima, in May 2020.

Sadiq, a lawyer at the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), died on Tuesday afternoon in Abuja.

His death was confirmed to reporters in Kano by Gaya’s spokesman Hussaini Indabwa.

He said the deceased was buried on Tuesday at about 4.00pm. The deceased is survived by a wife and two children.
