President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the bereaved Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, over the passing of her mother, Hajiya Zainab Sidi Ali.
Buhari, who is attending the 77th United Nations General Assembly in New York, said he commiserates with family members, friends and associates of the late matriarch, who defined her life with kindness, charity and service to humanity.
The President’s condolence message was contained in a statement on Wednesday by his media aide, Femi Adesina.
He noted the outpouring of testimonies over the good life of Hajiya Zainab, fondly called “Gogo”, with reflections on her wise counsels, diligence in business and enveloping love for her children, orphans, neighbours and community, mostly of the underprivileged she looked after.
The President ended his message with prayers, that the Almighty God will remember her investments of love on earth, and grant her eternal rest.
Recall that the FCT Minister of State is in mourning mood since the death of her mother, Hajiya Zainab Sidi Ali.
