Nigerian Journalist Narrates How Some Nigerian Men Based Abroad Treat Their Wives Who Live In Nigeria

A journalist has taken to Twitter to narrate how a Nigerian man based abroad treats his wife who lives in Nigeria.

He stated that his wife lives with her mother-in-law and the husband seized her phone so she would not be receiving calls from other men.

He also disclosed that when the husband wants to communicate with his wife, he calls his mother who hands the phone to the wife.

Posting via his Twitter handle, he wrote;

''Still cannot wrap my head around the story that, in 2022, a woman is married to a man who is based abroad. She lives with her mother in law. He seized her mobile phone (cos of 'boys') When he wants to communicate, he calls his mother and she gives the phone to the wife. 2022!''
