A video shared online showed commuters standing on both ends of the road, watching helplessly as water flowing like a river passed through the broken road.

There was commotion and panic in Bayelsa after the busy Yenagoa-Amassoma road split into two.

The incident was caused as a result of heavy flooding, leaving commuters stranded.
