Two victims have been reportedly killed as bandits stormed Mamman Suka community of Gwadabawa local council of Sokoto State.
The gunmen also abducted 13 people during the attack last weekend. The council chairman, Alhaji Aminu Aya, confirmed the attack.
Aya said the bandits operated freely for hours without resistance.
He told newsmen;
“The bandits abducted 11 females and two males. They also rustled some livestock and went away with valuables including mobile phones and money. All these happened without any intervention nor support from the security agents.
“I also appeal to the army and other security agencies to make efforts to rescue the victims taken away by the attackers.”
