Drama As Customs Seizes Indian Hemp, Generates N100m In Kebbi

184 laptops and 284 parcels of Indian hemp have been seized by the Nigeria Custom Service (NCS) area command in Kebbi State in the border areas in the state.

This was made known by state controller of customs, Mr. Joseph Atta, while briefing journalists on the monthly command’s activities yesterday at the command headquarters Birnin Kebbi.

Atta also revealed that 2.250 litres of petrol were intercepted and confiscated 38 cartons of whitening (bleaching) cream), 80 pieces of solar batteries from smugglers.

He said the seized items would be handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for further action.
