Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr has revealed why it took the decision to sign former Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Recall that Ronaldo signed for Al Nassr on Friday.
Ronaldo was a free agent for just over a month after his contract with Man United was terminated in November.
However, according to Al Nassr, they signed Ronaldo because the Portugal captain’s signing will inspire the Saudi Arabia league and future generations of boys and girls in the country.
In a statement via its official Instagram account on Friday, Al Nassr said: “This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success but inspire our league, our nation and future generations, boys and girls, to be the best version of themselves.
“Welcome Cristiano to your new home Al Nassr.”
Ronaldo’s deal with Al Nassr will run until 2025.
