Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh has been slammed by social media users over a comment she made about Yoruba indigenous movie on Netflix, Jagun Jagun (The Warrior).
Tonto while reviewing the movie, recommended it for her friends.
The movie star said it had been over 10 to 12 years since she watched a Nollywood movie, and she was really in awe with the production.
She added that Jagun Jagun is an amazing movie and showered praises on the cast and crew for their phenomenal work.
Tonto emphasized that her review isn’t based on a personal relationship with any of the cast in the movie but she only watched it based on the recommendation.
She wrote: “This is my review for My very first watched Nigerian movie in over 10/12years!!!!
“I was shook, I think this is an amazing movie. Don’t personally know anyone in this movie from production to crew) but I watched it by popular demand via my international friends and I must say I AM FLABBERGASTED!!!!!!#. Weldone to the producers crew and the cast!!!”
