Actress, Sarah Martins has tendered an apology after blaming colleague, Adanma Luke for the death of actor, Junior Pope.

Reacting to the news of Pope's death, Sarah Martins took to her Instagram page to drag the actress, noting how her recklessness had cost her the lives of people.

She also mocked the actress’ movie, describing it as a low-budget movie trying to raise local standards without providing the necessary amenities.

She was slammed by Uju Okoli and Destiny Etiko over the comment.

Uju Okoli lambasted her while Destiny Etiko emphasized the importance of timing, denouncing the inappropriate nature of the statement

Taking to her Instagram page, Sarah shared a direct message she received from her colleague, Iheme Nancy, on her Instagram page, in which Nancy chastised her for criticizing the actress.

She has now apologised.

She wrote: “I want to publicly apologize for my outburst yesterday regarding the painful tragedy

“For the respect I have for some of my senior colleagues who reached out to me, I had to take down the post.

“I apologize to my friends and colleagues who found the post insensitive and felt disappointed

“This is a lesson to all of us, and I believe things like this will never happen again. @ihemenancy you’re my Gee and I respect you.”
