Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has reacted after her daughter, Michelle, expressed that she does not want a large wedding.

Mercy made this known after a recent phone call with her daughter, where Michelle stated that she would prefer a quiet and simple celebration.

The actress, who has always shown open affection for her daughter, appeared surprised by the request and took to Instagram to express how she felt.

She called on her online supporters and the women who follow her page to help her speak to Michelle, saying she was still trying to understand why her daughter chose a small ceremony.

Mercy also tagged Michelle in the post as she tried to get a response from her.

She wrote: “So I just got off the phone, and the last thing Michelle said is Mummy, please, I don’t want a big wedding, oh!

"Please, as online mummies and as my fans, please help me reply her. @michelleio__ Dey play”.
