Nigerian singer Burna Boy has reportedly fallen ill while on tour, raising concerns among fans.

The news was shared by Nigerian media personality and music journalist Adesope Shopsydoo, who posted footage of the singer receiving medical attention.

In the video, Burna Boy can be seen lying down with a drip attached to his arm as he undergoes treatment.

Captioning the clip, Adesope wrote: "Burna Boy down with an illness behind the scenes.

"It’s not easy at all, touring is hard… Speedy recovery to Burna."

Fans and fellow artists have since sent messages of support, wishing the Afrobeats superstar a quick recovery and hoping he returns to the stage stronger.
