Popular media personality and content creator, Kolu, has appealed to his colleague Carter Efe for a ₦7 million loan to help secure the release of singer Portable from prison.
Kolu made the plea on Thursday during a livestream with Carter Efe on Twitch.
When Carter asked why he was concerned about the singer’s welfare, Kolu disclosed that it was Portable who brought him to Lagos and gave him the spotlight he needed to be famous.
Kolu said in Pidgin “Portable brought me to Lagos, I come blow. Na him help my life.”

Recall that Portable was remanded in prison on Tuesday by the Federal High Court sitting in Ota, Ogun state over allegations of car theft and assault by his baby mama, Ashabi Simple.
Portable was also reportedly handcuffed and beaten in police custody.
