Ify Okafor, a Nigerian woman residing in the United Kingdom, has accused actress Nancy Isime and former beauty queen Sylvia Nduka of allegedly contributing to the collapse of her marriage to businessman Chinedu Nwobodo, owner of Circa Lagos.
Ify, who is from Ogwashi-Uku in Delta State, made the allegations in a lengthy post on her Facebook page, where she spoke about repeated cheating by her former husband during their marriage.
She said some of the affairs happened while they were still legally and traditionally married.
According to her account, the alleged relationships with Nancy Isime and Sylvia Nduka brought deep pain, shame, and unrest into her home.
She said the constant cheating, along with violence and emotional pressure, slowly destroyed the marriage and left her mentally and emotionally drained.
She further claimed that her husband’s actions were not limited to infidelity alone.
She said she suffered physical attacks, emotional abuse, threats, and control throughout the marriage, which made her life unsafe and unstable.
Ify also said that last year, when she became seriously ill, her ex-husband abandoned her and their three children.
She explained that she begged him many times for help, not because she refused to work, but because she was sick and caring for the children alone.
She added that each time she and the children began to recover and settle, her former husband would return and cause new problems.
She said this pattern happened both in Nigeria and in the United Kingdom.
While in Nigeria, she alleged that he often refused to pay for the children’s upkeep or would agree to support them for a short time before stopping without warning.
