Nigerian businessman Isaac Fayose has strongly criticized the federal government over the rising wave of violence, kidnappings, and insecurity across the country, accusing leaders of prioritizing political ambitions over the safety of citizens.
Speaking on recent incidents, Fayose highlighted the shocking scale of daily killings in Nigeria, noting that even ongoing conflicts like the Israel-Iran tension have not witnessed such levels of bloodshed in a single day.
“The government does not even care; they are more interested in winning the election than anything else,” Fayose said.
He expressed outrage at the abduction of women and children, describing such tragedies as being treated as “normal” by authorities.
Fayose condemned citizens who continue to support political leaders despite the deteriorating security situation.
“People are dying like chickens, and yet some are still praising them. That is wickedness.”
He warned that leaders’ focus on political power over human lives is deadly and unacceptable.”
