Ahmed Ololade, the popular Nigerian singer, widely known as Asake, has shared insights into his personal life, revealing why he has yet to settle down despite his rising success in the music industry.

The Afrobeats star made this known during a one-on-one interview with Korty EO, where he spoke about his views on relationships, marriage, and family life.

The singer, who has gained both local and international attention, said his quiet personality has affected his social life and relationships.

Asake described himself as someone who does not go out often or mix with people easily, adding that this has played a part in why he is still single.

Even though he is not married yet, he said starting a family is something that crosses his mind often.

The ‘Lungu Boy’ crooner explained that he believes his life is guided by God and that everything, including marriage, will happen at the right time.

He made it clear that he does not want to rush into a relationship, as he trusts that things will fall into place when the time is right.

According to him, patience is important when it comes to matters of love and marriage, as no one fully understands how life will unfold.

For now, the singer said he is focused on his music career and the stage he is currently in.

Asake also revealed that his mother remains the closest woman in his life at the moment.

He said: “I plan to build a family by the special grace of God. I think about it every day because I am an introverted type of person who does not go out much. I will meet my wife when God says it is time. God has already written how our lives will go.

“It is good not to rush things because we do not fully understand His ways. As we are, no one knows tomorrow. For now, my mom is my babe. But when God finally says it is time for me to get married, I will. For now, I am still on the streets.”
