ADC Disowns Alleged State Congress Plans, Warns Members Against Unauthorized Meetings

The African Democratic Congress, or ADC, has disassociated itself from some people's alleged scheme to hold congresses in several states throughout the nation.

Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the party's National Publicity Secretary, signed a public notice published in Abuja that included this information.

"The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has been alerted to a purported plan by certain individuals to convene congresses in certain states," the message stated.

We would want to make it clear that, in accordance with the Federal High Court's present order, the ADC will not hold any congresses until the existing executives' terms are up.

“We therefore urge loyal party members to disregard any invitations to attend such congresses, as they are merely machinations by agents ot destabilisation seeking to cause contusion within the party.”
