He said, on Thursday, May 7, I visited the University of the Niger in Umunya, Anambra State, as part of my ongoing commitment to supporting vital areas of development - education, healthcare, and assisting people in escaping poverty.
Since the institution was founded only five years ago, it has made incredible strides, and I have made it a point to visit each year to support the excellent work being done there. This institution's teaching hospital in Ogidi was my most recent visit.
Former presidential candidate Peter Obi, urged the kids to continue their studies today, reminding them that knowledge is what drives the modern world and that young people like them hold the key to Nigeria's future.

He donated 25 million naira to the institution's growth in order to fund scholarships and educational advancement.
He said, I genuinely applaud the Diocese on the Niger for its vision, foresight, and unwavering dedication to institutional and educational development. Additionally, I want to thank Prof. Chinedu Nebo, the Vice Chancellor, for his obvious commitment to education.
The numerous schools and organizations he continues to assist in their development and fortification are evidence of his dedication.
Since no nation can advance beyond the strength of its human capital and education, I continue to be totally dedicated to the advancement of education and student development in our nation.
