Kidnap Plot Backfires in Rivers as Hired Gunmen Turn on Their Own Client

A plot to abduct family members has spectacularly backfired in Rivers State, after a man was kidnapped by the very criminals he had hired to carry out the operation.

Adawari Samuel Ogolo had allegedly contracted a gang of kidnappers to abduct his elder brother, Mr. Tammy Samuel Ogolo, and their sister.

However, the plan took a dramatic turn when the hired criminals turned on him instead, seizing him rather than carrying out the original assignment.

Reports indicate that the kidnappers chose to spare the intended targets after concluding that the elder brother was a decent and kindhearted individual.

Adawari is identified as the first son of the second wife of Senior Pastor Samuel Ogolo, the General Overseer of a new-generation church in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The kidnappers are now demanding a ransom of ₦10 million for his release.
