Davido Reveals Plans to Become a Nollywood Actor

David Adeleke, better known as Davido, a popular Nigerian singer, has announced aspirations to enter the film industry as an actor.

Speaking in a recent interview, the "OBO" crooner said he has already executively produced two movies but wants to become more actively involved in filmmaking.

He also disclosed that he has shot a documentary set for release soon, describing it as a very significant project, and confirmed his intention to eventually pursue acting.

Davido noted that music, like technology, is inherently innovative, stressing that artists must continually evolve and explore new creative directions.

He expressed gratitude for the career and fanbase he has been blessed with, saying he wouldn't trade it for any other path, and adding that music, much like technology, keeps producing new sounds, fresh creative ideas and new ways to tell stories.
