Veekee James Fires Back After Husband Sparks Fresh Online Debate

Ruth Erikan James, often known as Veekee James, is a Nigerian fashion designer and content producer who has addressed criticism regarding her husband's frequent public appearances with her.

After an internet user questioned why her husband, Femi, frequently goes with her to events and other public outings, the media star defended her marriage.

A user online, identified as Lauren, criticised actor and content creator Femi for reportedly following his wife, fashion designer Veekee James, everywhere, including to the traditional wedding of Peller and Jarvis.

Lauren had questioned whether Femi had a life of his own, asking if he had to follow his wife everywhere, and whether Veekee James had turned him into an accessory.

Reacting, Veekee James defended her husband's constant presence by her side, stating that she enjoys sharing her life with him and has no problem with him accompanying her wherever she goes.

She explained that his life and her life are intertwined, describing their bond as inseparable comparing it to a padlock and its key.

She added that anyone who has an issue with their closeness should mind their business, stressing that people who marry should be prepared to keep their spouse close rather than separate from them.

She maintained that she and her husband are one and the same, and that people should expect to see them together everywhere.
