Virgin Atlantic Flight With 270 Passengers Makes Emergency Landing

A Virgin Atlantic flight carrying 270 passengers had to turn around and make an emergency landing shortly after taking off from Bangalore, India on September 6.

The plane left Kempegowda International Airport early that morning headed for London when the crew spotted a technical problem.

They circled in the air for more than 30 minutes before coming back down to land safely at the same airport they'd just left.

Virgin Atlantic said the flight was cancelled as a precaution and that safety was their main concern.

They apologized for the disruption and said their teams were working to get passengers onto other flights as quickly as possible.
