Poco Lee Faces 2027 Court Showdown as Trial Date Is Set

A UK-based media personality who was present at Poco Lee's court hearing has provided an update on the ongoing rape and sexual offence case against the Nigerian dancer and choreographer.

Oluomo attended proceedings on Tuesday and shared details about the next steps in the legal process.

The plea hearing is scheduled for February 8, 2027, while the trial itself is expected to begin on March 8, 2027.

He urged the public to let the legal process unfold without jumping to conclusions based on allegations or information circulating online.

Everyone is innocent until proven guilty in court, he stressed, and that principle must be respected throughout the proceedings.

Oluomo said he would continue providing relevant updates when appropriate while respecting the court and everyone involved in the case.

He called on the public to allow justice to take its proper course as the legal proceedings continue.
