Semen Gendler, a fairly rich caucasian  man from Russia was diagnosed of hepatisis C and cancer which was on the verge of taking his life. Doctors recommended a liver transplant as an escape route.

Gendler who is a 65-year old inventor had difficulties getting a donor in his home country Russia. He was therefore invited by his business partners in the United States of America to fly in for the liver transplant operation. A 38-year old Black-American doctor was organised to donor his liver to him . The terms of the medical operations were not revealed but according to Gendler it cost him a figure of $500,000 [£325,000].

Mr Gendler said: "Russian doctors made it quite clear to me that if I didn't have a liver transplant I would not live.

"I do a lot of business in the US with partners in New York, and I asked them to help me arrange for the operation where if you have enough money it is possible to do it more quickly than in Russia.

The operation was very successful and his recovery was perfect. He currently shuttles between United states of America and Russia but his skin has started transforming from white to black gradually.

The doctors haven't been able to find a concrete medical explanation to his changing complexion but he feels unfazed with the development. According to him, he is more concerned about his state of health.

"I could end up much darker than this to be honest, I don't care. The main thing is that the liver works and I am healthy.

"It's incredible, I am now so full of energy and living between two cities in New York and Krasnodar and if my skin ends up dark who cares, I certainly don't",
Gendler said.
