It was a sorry and tearful sight when the body of a young girl who could not be more than 15, was found at the premises of ATC in Jalingo, Taraba State, and it was apparent she was raped to death, on Tuesday. August 18.
According to a social media user, the girl must have been hawking some items when the perpetrators of the evil act lured her to an uncompleted building and raped her to death before dumping her body behind a zinc shack where it was discovered.
Though no arrests have been made yet, the police in the state say it has commenced intensive investigations and would surely bring the vile culprit(s) to book.
