Suicide Bomber Nabbed in the Act in Bauchi State

 

 A suspected suicide bomber has been arrested while trying to attack the Yankari motor park in Bauchi, Bauchi state.

 

A security source revealed the suspect who is a man attempted to gain entrance into the park to unleash terror when the explosive devices on him were discovered by the metal detectors attached to the entrance for security measures.

 
“The man came very early in the morning, around 6am, and was trying to enter. But he was unable to achieve his aim,”

“Security at the gate detected the bomb, and they caught him. Most of the parks now have metal detectors since Boko Haram has been targeting crowds of people that can usually be found at parks,” the security source said. 

The suspect, described as “a grown man”, was handed over to the police for subsequent investigations and prosecution.
