The commercial city of Aba in Abia State are in a state of pandemonium and confusion this morning as massive explosion has stalled business activities.

Umungasi in Aba, the commercial city of Abia State, this morning was rocked with a massive explosion as photos of the incident emerges online.

Below is how Igbere TV exclusively reported the story;

"News just coming in to our newsroon is that there has been a massive explosion at the Aba Owerri road Umungasi Aba. A tanker loaded with gas exploded at Aba Owerri road Aba, The cause of the explosion is not clear at the moment, but some eyewitnesses said the explosion was caused by a brake failure.

According to them, a tanker driver was coming out from a fueling station and had a brake failure as he was trying to divert to the other lane and the tanker got exploded!"
