As a part of Nigeria's Independence Day celebration, Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state granted some prisoners freedom.

The governor, yesterday granted 25 prisoners freedom and gave each of them N1 million for start up.

Governor Obiano granted them freedom as part of activities to celebrate Nigeria's 55th independence.
