The staff of popular publishing house, Daily Independent Newspapers has gone on strike over the non-payment of salary.

The office of the publshing house was picketted by the Nigerian Union of Journalists, led by the national President of NUJ, Alhaji Waheed Odusile on Monday, October 12 over non payment of workers' 23 months salary arrears.
