Police Arrest Husband Who Allegedly Shot Dead Wife's Lover

 

The police in Bayelsa State have arrested the husband who allegedly shot dead his wife's lover when he caught them having sex in a cassava processing plant.

 

The suspect was arrested on Wednesday in Gudugudu camp in Odoni, Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State by a crack team of police detectives.

 

The man shot dead the wife's lover on Tuesday after he met them having an illicit affair. It was revealed that the man had traced them to the cassava processing plant where he found them in the act and shot the wife's lover dead.

 

Confirming the report, Bayelsa Police Command Spokesman, ASP Astimin Butswat, said a team of crack detectives arrested the suspect on Wednesday in Gudugudu camp in Odoni, Sagbama Local Government Area.

 

It was gathered from a reliable source that the victim was a 28-years-old man and owner of the cassava processing plant.
